Nations
Friends... Countrymen...
Each game is comprised of different Nations. Each Nation has advantages and disadvantages that will influence their direction throughout the game. When players stake a character in the game - they will be assigned which Nation they will play for. The rotation of Nation assignments will ensure as much as balance as possible throughout the game.
With unRevealed offering two player staking methods, there is risk that one Nation could fall behind if enough players were to leave or not return mid-game. Allowing unRevealed to randomly assign new players to Nations in an effort to balance the ecosystem will ensure a constantly evolving game.
The outline and player assignment functions will be publicly available to our community in an effort to ensure transparency and a fair playing field for all players.
Nations provide players the ability to settle land within the game. Unlike metaverse games that primarily sell NFT 'real estate' - players are free to settle within the lands of their Nation's map for the duration of the game.
National maps hold the ability for up to 200 players to settle land and build shelters.
National Prestige
Nations are in competition with each other for unRevealed supremacy. This is accomplished through National Prestige.
Every Nation has a Resource Production Output (RPO). This is similar to a real world nation's gross domestic product. The RPO is a measure of an unRevealed Nation's resource production throughout the game. The RPO is a direct representation of National Prestige.
The RPO is calculated according to formulas for four different aspects of the game's in-game activities. This is subject to change and will be progressively turned over to the Governor's Council for control.
Food Production
Players need to not only produce food for themselves and their homestead, but also to contribute to the Nation's RPO. Nation's with the highest food production throughout the game will score higher National Prestige.
Resource Production
In addition to food, players are constantly producing resources like lumber, cement, iron, tools, weapons, and more. All production is accounted for in the Nation's RPO.
Charity
Surplus production can go to waste. Instead - players are rewarded UNRV from the unRevealed Well for donating their surplus food and resources. This encourages constant resource production to ensure your Nation's victory!
Foreign Combat Victories
Does dying in unRevealed matter? Well, yes. Being killed by a fellow countryman won't count against your National Prestige, but losing to a foreign player will. Be careful about who and how you engage enemies - as the outcome will affect your Nation's final standings!
Formula
Each category of RPO (food production, resource production, charity, and foreign combat victories) are factored in a ranking system based on the number of Nations in the game.
E.g., Game 001 is scheduled to have five participating Nations. Therefore, the measurement scale for each category will be 1 to 5, with the highest ranking beginning at 1. The total of points in each category will determine each Nation's Prestige Ranking.
