Combat

Why Don't You Fight About It

unRevealed is like the real world - dangerous. You're always at risk of ambush, attack, and need to be ready to defend yourself and your homestead.

unRevealed uses a combination melee/shooter 3rd-party controller. This enables us to animate and control the interaction in combat between players.

Melee

Melee combat is the most basic of combat interactions. While players can throw hands - it may be more advisable for players to equip themselves with a melee weapon of sorts.

Clubs, knives, swords, and more are all available to be found, created, or traded for in-game. These weapons can give players additional power in combat to defeat their opponents quicker.

Shooter

Shooter combat is the more advanced combat system within unRevealed. While unRevealed is a world to conquer - it lacks the existing infrastructure of our real world.

Players will be able to earn projectile weapons in-game, trade for them at the marketplace, or learn to craft them with their own characters. Crafting a projectile weapon is difficult - but the rewards may be worth it...

unRevealed is not the typical 'shooter' style game. There are no advanced weapons or guns in the unRevealed ecosystem. There are however numerous types of more primitive handcannons to fire projectiles at enemies, bows and arrows, slings, and more. While this means players won't be sniping other players from mountain tops - it does mean the combat and player engagement will be closer, more intimate, and challenging.

Death and Respawn

So what happens when a character is killed? Well, for starters, they die. And that means everything you were carrying at the time is now at risk of theft. You may be able to recover your lost items if you can make it in time. But that depends on how far away from home you are.

Your character will respawn back at your shelter. If you die ten feet from home, you respawn at home. If you die in another Nation, you respawn at home. Obviously, that will create some interesting dilemmas for players to sort out if they want to attempt to steal from other Nations...
