Houses
Everyone Needs Friends... Right?
Each Nation provides the ability for players to form Houses. Houses are new maps within Nations that contain greater resources and rewards for players of the House.
Once a player joins a House - their resources and assets will be delivered to their new House map, however they will be responsible for resettling land and rebuilding a shelter. So it is advantageous to join Houses early in the game. Houses are also protected from foreign invasion until the third phase of the game.
Players are not required to join a House.
Each House provides settlement for up to 32 players. Players will still be required to settle land and build their own shelters within the House map.
In order for a new House to be established within a Nation - players will need to reveal a Head of House RVLD in a National Map. The players that acquires this RVLD can choose to sell it, trade it, or even auction it off on a third part marketplace. Though they may be best served by starting the new House themselves...
House Hierarchy
Each House is led by a Head of the House (HoH) - the founder of the House. This player will have the first choice of settlement land within the new map and the first ability to explore and gather important resources.
Other players in the Nation are free to join any Houses with availability. Once a player joins a House, their shelter will be permanently tied to the House for the remainder of the game or as long as their character remains staked.
Throughout the game players will compete to climb the House Hierarchy to be a top producing House member.
House Cut
Every House player contributes to the House pool of resources instead of their National pool. Similar to a representative proxy, House members' production are pooled. Each House in the winning Nation at the end of the game will receive rewards proportional to their contribution to their Nation.
The more productive a player is - the higher they will rise in their House Cut. The House Cut determines a player's House rewards at the end of the game. The Cut is measured on a fair distribution scale depending on the number of players in the House at the end of the game.
The Head of the House will always receive a guaranteed percentage starting at 20% - decreasing by 5% for every House member. E.g., if the House finishes the game with 10 players, the HoH receives a guaranteed 12.60% of the House Cut, and the remaining 87.40% is split among the 10 players (including the HoH) in 5% descending increments.
This guarantees all House players are rewarded according to their in-game production and contribution to their House and the game as a whole.
House Combat
For the first two phases of the game players can engage in combat with other players from their own Nation. This includes players belonging to their own and other domestic Houses.
In the third phase, players can invade foreign Houses as well.
This has great rewards - but also incredible risks. Players will not want to upset other House members through theft and combat - and the risk of dying abroad is heavy.
Players can invade foreign Houses to steal resources, in-game assets, and more. Player owned NFTs cannot be stolen. However, if a player is a killed while attempting to raid a foreign House - they will lose all items they are currently carrying and respawn back in their House without their carried loot. Players who kill invaders are welcome to the spoils of the fallen.
